I have a diaper genie and I have to admit it is amazing! It conceals the odors so well! I would definitely recommend it! But the refills cost money. To make these refills last longer don't load up that diaper genie with every single diaper.
My suggestion get a small cute trash can that matches your nursery and collect all those grocery bags you come home with and don't use. Either use that as your trash bag or buy the small ruffies trash bags that are very cheap at Walmart. I just use the grocery bags, they tie up so easily and they are free! Just stick the trash can in an inconspicuous area beside your changing table. All wipes and diapers that don't involve poop, throw in the trash can. Then when it's full, all you have to do is tie it up and throw it out with the trash. This saves a lot of your diaper genie refills for those stinky diapers!!
